New Study: Red Light Therapy Lowers Blood Sugar

Red light therapy shows promise for lowering blood sugar.

A new study published in the Journal of Biophotonics analyzed the use of red light therapy in the management of type 2 diabetes (T2D). The placebo-controlled clinical trial suggests that red light therapy helps to lower blood sugar levels. The research, which was conducted on healthy adults with an average age of 40 years, found that exposure to red light for 15 minutes resulted in a 30% decrease in blood sugar levels.
