Is this device portable?
Yes, you can use any USB power bank (5V/2A USB power bank with 20,000 mah or higher) with the Cura ProWave Deep Healing Pad.
Where can I get the power bank?
If you don not already use one for your smartphone or other devices, you can find one in your local electronics or Walmart store etc. for $20.
What settings do you recommend for my condition?
We recommend using the mode with both red and near-infrared light for the best healing effects. Some people may chose to only use the red light wavelengths for skin rejuvenation purposes. Others may only choose near-infrared light if they have light sensitivities. However, for most other scenarios we recommend both wavelengths for combined effects.
For more details, please refer to our recommended settings guide here.

I don't see Pulsing+ mode on my device. Why is that?
This is because you have the latest model of our devices. The old model of our devices did not have a remote controller, and only a power button with 2 modes - standard mode and Pulsing+ mode.
Our 2025 model now has a controller to customize the therapy settings further. In the old model, the default frequency in Pulsing+ mode was 10 Hz. So to access Pulsing+ mode, simply set the frequency to 10 Hz.
What is the difference between the constant light and pulsing light?
Regarding the difference between constant light and pulsing light: The standard mode releases more heat, and for many people, the warmth has a short-term effect on easing pain.
The pulsing light has a slightly better long-term effect because when there is less heat, the cells vibrate less and thus can absorb more of the energy from the red light photons to turn into cellular energy.
So, if you find that the warmth is easing your pain you can use the device with frequency NULL (constant light) with red and near-infrared light. If it does not impact your pain, choose the pulsing light for slightly better long-term effects.
Can I use the Cura ProWave Deep Healing Pad alongside medications?
Red light therapy is safe to use alongside medications. Only if you use photosensitizing drugs like Retin A, Digoxin or Tetracycline, you should consult your doctor.
